ADDRESSING SOCIAL ISOLATION AND LONLINESS FOR MEMORY CARE RESIDENTS THROUGH CREATIVE ACTIVIES.
Joyful Connections works to connect teens with memory care residents. Volunteers engage in art and music appreciation with seniors, activating individuals’ cognitive functioning skills and fostering long lasting intergenerational connections.
"Joyful Connections sessions are always energetic and full of knowledge. I'm thrilled when Tuesdays come around because I get to see young faces and socialize in a unique way."
Anna P. (Resident)

Diane M. (Resident)
"Joyful Connections asks insightful questions that engage the group. As an old bird, I know it can be tough to deal with us. Having patience with us is key, and this group of young adults make it look easy. Thank for all you do."
Nancy G. (Resident)
